Our Team
With a combined 40+ years of experience in the art industry, we understand the needs of today’s sophisticated dealers, gallerists and collectors and created International Art Finance to allow them to achieve their objectives.
Adam has filled multiple positions in the art industry, first as a partner in Art Agency Partners, sold to Sotheby’s in 2016, then as Chief Operating Officer of Sotheby’s where he was responsible for all of Sotheby’s global deal making activity as well as working with the Chief Financial Officer to oversee Sotheby’s Financial Services. Prior to his involvement in the art world, Adam was a founding partner of boutique investment bank Centerview Partners and prior to that was a partner in the law firm of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. Adam has a JD (cum) laude from NYU Law School and a BA (Hons) in English Literature and Language from Oxford University.

Prior to joining International Art Finance, Duncan was a Vice President at Sotheby’s Financial Services where he partnered with Lending Specialists to deliver financing solutions to collectors across the globe. Before Sotheby’s, he held various roles at WeWork and previously worked at the investment bank Greenhill & Co. Duncan graduated with honors from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Management.
